The Pink in Canada

25th January 2010, in Blog Posts (0 Comments)

Recently I got an email from some loyal customers of ours to tell me that they had gone all the way to Canada (Whistler to be exact on the matter). I was excited for the trip, the snow, and the times they must have had, but could not quite understand the need to tell me about it so vehemently.

That was until I saw the attachments in the email.

A quick phone call had to be made, as this was without a doubt, new territory for The Pink. Yes, it’s been found in foreign countries, and its best served cold, but this was groundbreaking stuff, storing it directly as mother nature intended.

Apparently the snow keeps it perfectly cool, and gives it a crisp, fresh flavor. My argument was that our Merlot Rose always has a crisp, fresh flavor, but you don’t always need to argue the point when the bottle was transported across the wide ocean that is the Pacific.

So really, there are very few excuses left why you shouldn’t take your Pink with you everywhere. In fact, I am putting up a case of The Pink 2010 (yet even unharvested) for the best The Pink photo sent to us directly, by release date (usually around June) 2010.

All photos are to be mailed to sales (at) kleinhoekkloof.co.za with the heading “The Pink” before 21 May 2010. It really is that easy.

Eloise can consider this the first entry.

Have a great week ahead.
