Complex and simple all at once, this Shiraz / Viognier / Petit Verdot is a delight on the tongue and for all the remaining senses. Co-ferment whole bunch pressed and given a mixture of new and old oaks, you will pick up the prominent nose of the Shiraz and the colour of the Petit Verdot with the full mouthfeel the Viognier brings to this Oeniphile party.
Due to the uniquely cold climate on the farm, this wine is crystal clear and bright which at first shows rich granadilla and cape gooseberries, however once settled in the bottle, these flavours show more fresh herbs and fynbos with a hint of green figs.
